The EU identified DCHP as two highly concerned substances
On April 25, 2018, the European Commission issued a resolution (EU) No. 2018/636 in the Official Gazette, formally identified dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP) as a substance of high concern.
The resolution pointed out that DCHP belonged to the category 1B of reproductive toxicity (Article 57 (c)) and had the endocrine disruption characteristics (Article 57 (f)) which had serious impact on human health. DCHP met the requirements of REACH Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 Article 57 (l) as a candidate substance for SVHC. Therefore, DCHP should be added to the list of SVHC.

Up to now, there are 183 highly concerned substances (SVHC), two of which are confirmed by the European Union but not officially announced by the European Chemical Administration.
